 -- DAILY GOSHO --
“And yet, though one might point at the earth and miss it, though one might bind up the sky, though the tides might cease to ebb and flow and the sun rise in the west, it could never come about that the prayers of the practitioner of the Lotus Sutra would go unanswered.”

--- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ---
"The French writer Victor Hugo (1802–85) said: 'Great people have experienced and lived life to full abundance. They have packed more into a few years than an ordinary person

might in the course of a whole life. A single year for them is equivalent to a decade or even an entire lifetime of an ordinary person.*

"This is a perfect description of our lives as Soka Gakkai members. We are Bodhisattvas of the Earth dedicated to realising the momentous undertaking of kosen-rufu; as such, we are able to lead lives of incomparable meaning and value. I have striven in the spirit of making each year the equivalent of a decade or even an entire lifetime. The power of the Mystic Law is what makes this possible.

"May 3rd is the New Year’s Day of the Soka Gakkai. With this day as our annual starting point, we are living lives that are tens—no, hundreds—of times more fulfiling than others. All of you, who advance together with the Soka Gakkai, are noble comrades linked together by profound and mysterious bonds.”

the Tokyo Makiguchi Memorial Hall in Hachioji, Tokyo on April 20th, 2006.
