"The secret to victory lies in deep and genuine unity that respects and
treasures diversity. This is a point made by Nichiren Daishonin. Many other
wise figures throughout history, including the ancient Chinese general Zhuge
Liang, have noted its importance. As the famous Malaysian proverb teaches
us: 'Bersatu kita teguh, bercerai kita roboh. (Where there is unity there is
strength, where there is division there is destruction.)'"
