--- TO MY FRIENDS ---
Our resolute determined prayer in the morning,
vowing to fulfill our missions for the sake of kosen-rufu,
is what determines victory that day.
With the rhythm of a galloping white horse,
let's resonantly do morning gongyo and chant daimoku
and make a great refreshing start each and every day!
*Gongyo is an invigorating "ceremony of time without beginning" that revitalises us from the very depths of our being. Therefore, the important thing is to do gongyo each day filled with a feeling of rhythm and cadence--like a white horse galloping through the heavens. (Lectures on the "Expedient Means" and "Life Span" Chapters of the Lotus Sutra by Daisaku Ikeda)

---- WORDS OF THE WEEK ----
"The treasures of the heart are the most valuable of all."*
The blessings that we accumulate by devoting ourselves to achieving kosen-rufu are boundless and immeasurable.
Cheerfully and with patience and perseverance,
let's strive to accumulate "the treasures of the heart"!
*"More valuable than treasures in a storehouse are the treasures of the body, and the treasures of the heart are the most valuable of all. From the time you read this letter on, strive to accumulate the treasures of the heart!" - "The Three Kinds of Treasure", WND-I, page 851
