"Nichiren Daishonin writes: 'the character myo [of Myoho, the Mystic Law] means to open. If there is a store house full of treasures but no key, then it cannot be opened' (WND –1, 145).
"One of the keys to endlessly tapping our inner treasure is warm encouragement, recognising and praising one another's strong points.
"I want you to find as many good points as you can in your friends and those around you. Having that attitude towards the people in your life fosters true friendship. When you can see the good points in someone else, you can also see your own good points."
