"'The benefit of the Lotus Sutra is such that even a single word of it embodies the threefold blessings of Shakyamuni, Many Treasures and the Buddhas of the ten directions. To illustrate, it is like a wish-granting jewel [which can rain down countless treasures].'

Voice" (WND-1, 331).
"Even a single word of the Lotus Sutra contains the benefit of all Buddhas. Nichiren Daishonin, the Buddha of the Latter Day of the Law, teaches us that through faith in the Mystic Law, we can each tap power and wisdom from within our lives as freely as if employing a wish-granting jewel.
"Every effort we make, day after day, in chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and meeting and talking with even just one person creates truly immense value.
"Today again, let's reach out to others! As ambassadors of the Buddha, let's engage in heart-to-heart diplomacy with a bright, upbeat spirit, imparting hope and happiness."
