A translation of President Ikeda's "To My Friends" published in the Seikyo
Shimbun and more.

-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The Daishonin encourages us,
"My disciples, form your ranks and fellow me."*
Now is the time for us all to stand up and take courageous action to
fulfil our missions!
Let's make every effort, as often as we can,
to talk with as many people as possible
and promote goodness, righteousness and truth.

* "Now, at the beginning of the Latter Day of the Law, I,
Nichiren, am the first to embark on propagating,
throughout Jambudvipa, the five characters of
Myoho-renge-kyo, which are the heart of the Lotus Sutra
and the eye of all Buddhas. During the 2,220 or more
years since the Buddha's passing, not even Mahakashyapa,
Ananda, Ashvaghosha, Nagarjuna, Nan-yueh, T'ien-t'ai,
Miao-lo, or Dengyo has propagated them. My disciples,
form your ranks and follow me, and surpass even
Mahakashapa or Ananda, T'ien-t'ai or Dengyo!" - "The
Actions of the Votary of the Lotus Sutra", WND-I, page 765

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Never seek this Gohonzon outside yourself. The Gohonzon
exists only within the mortal flesh of us ordinary people
who embrace the Lotus Sutra and chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo."

(The Real Aspect of the Gohonzon - The Writings of
Nichiren Daishonin, Vol.1, page 832) Selection source:

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The key to everything is people; it is our spirit as human beings. The
important thing is to keep infusing our spirit with bright hope. the joy of
living. and the courage not to be defeated. That is the driving force for
victory. If we forget this, we will not be able to reveal our true
potential."
