We need to do everything we can to continue advancing
day by day and month after month.
If we make up our minds resolutely to fulfil what we need to do,
boundless wisdom will definitely well-forth.
The path forwards will present itself without fail.

"One cannot win out in the difficult struggle for kosen-rufu with a halfhearted commitment and complacent attitude.

"As indicated by the Daishonin's instruction, 'You must be firmly resolved' (WND-1, 829), it is vital that we enter each struggle based on chanting daimoku, making solid preparations, and taking action—all directed towards achieving absolute victory—and that we are free of all doubt, fear, and carelessness. We need to 'make up our mind' (cf. WND-1, 829), as the Daishonin says. We must decide to win without fail.

"There is no greater source of pride than being able to engage in a crucial struggle for the sake of Buddhism—to engage in the struggle of words for kosen-rufu, using our body, our voice, and our actions to promote the correct teaching of Buddhism and convey the integrity of our mentor."
