-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The Daishonin encourages us,
"Regard your service to your lord
as the practice of the Lotus Sutra."*
By always showing integrity in our actions at work,
let's try to become someone
whom our coworkers would feel and say,
"We really need that person here!"
*"Regard your service to your lord as the practice of the Lotus Sutra. This is what is meant by 'No worldly affairs of life or work are ever contrary to the true reality.'" - "Reply to a Believer", WND-I, page 905

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Carry through with your faith in the Lotus Sutra. You cannot strike fire from flint if you stop halfway."
(Earthly Desires Are Enlightenment - The WND Vol 1, page 319)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"What is the best wealth for human beings? Shakyamuni's answer is clear: "Faith is the best wealth for a man in this world," and "The life of one living by wisdom is the best." [1]
"The purpose of Buddhism is to make that supreme inner wealth shine brightly for both ourselves and others.
"The Daishonin also teaches that while the treasures of the storehouse and the treasures of the body are important, they do not guarantee happiness. Nothing, however, can destroy the treasures of the heart (cf. WND-1, 851)—the good fortune and benefit we have accumulated in our lives. They are imperishable.
SGI Newsletter No. 9323, The Song of Human Victory, Traversing the Path of Victory Based on Nichiren Daishonin's Writings, from 16th Sep., 2015, issue of the Seikyo Shimbun, translation released 4th Dec. 2015
