"There will be times when we face unjust criticism or attack because we practice Nichiren Buddhism, but all adversity experienced for the sake of kosen-rufu is proof that we are leading our lives in accord with the Lotus Sutra—in other words, that we are following the great path to attaining Buddhahood.
"The struggles we may encounter in real life are all part of our Buddhist practice for our spiritual development, enabling us to do our human revolution and attain Buddhahood. If we chant with that spirit and conviction, the courage we need to confront those challenges will well forth from within us. That in itself is what it means to manifest the life state of Buddhahood.
"Dedicating one's life to kosen-rufu is the most noble way to live."
