"As we took in the marvellous views created by the primordial forces of nature, a Chinese friend shared with me a famous saying of his country: 'Listen to both sides and you will be enlightened, heed only one side and you will be benighted.' In other words, by meeting many people and listening to them with an open heart, you will be able to deepen your understanding. If you only hear one side of the story, you cannot gain a clear understanding of it."
