--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Suffer what there is to suffer, enjoy what there is to enjoy. Regard both suffering and joy as facts of life, and continue chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, no matter what happens. How could this be anything other than the boundless joy of the Law? Strengthen your power of faith more than ever."
("Happiness in This World",
let's advance resolutely towards victory!

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"'Faith for a harmonious family' is the most fundamental of the five eternal guidelines of the Soka Gakkai. Efforts to embody this kind of faith constitute the very essence of Buddhist practice. They also constitute a sure way for achieving kosen-rufu.
"Compassion for others is powerfully nurtured as we work together as a family to develop faith that creates harmony. If we can have compassion towards our own parents, we can develop compassion for other people as well.
"Many people live alone or are not married. Some couples don't have children. There are also single-parent families. Families come in all shapes and sizes.
"But we are all members of the Soka family. We are linked by the deepest, most beautiful life tie—our vow from time without beginning. The members of our value-creating family share one another's hardships, join together to overcome difficulties, praise one another's growth, and appreciate one another. They change complaint into prayer, criticism into encouragement, and share one another's joys and sorrows. They are a source of hope for transforming our local areas and communities. Building genuinely harmonious families is the key to creating a truly peaceful society.
"Today, a steady stream of harmonious families of the Mystic Law is shining around the world. They represent a huge network of millions and tens of millions of people working to create friendship, harmony, and peace. A positive revolution in the family will lead directly to changing the destiny of humankind.
"All around the globe, our members' examples of building harmonious families are producing oases of life that bring peace and security to society.
"The harmonious families of SGI members are bright suns of hope, the fruit of a truly universal religion."
