"The writings of Nichiren Daishonin show the way to happiness and peace for all humankind. For 75 years, I have striven for kosen-rufu alongside my fellow Soka Gakkai members, based on these precious scriptures. I have made my guides in this endeavour Presidents Makiguchi and Toda, who put the Daishonin's teachings into practice in their lives. I can affirm that this is the correct way to live to the fullest and have absolutely no regrets.
"This year, with fresh seeking spirit in faith, let's try to read the Daishonin's writings each day and, through this conversation with the Daishonin, elevate and revitalise our lives. Let's pave the way towards a hope-filled future, where all live together in harmony and peace."
