--- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ---

"Those organising the discussion meeting also need to think of the members who can't attend that day, and to come up with ways to support themperhaps planning to hold small group meetings on some other days or occasionally changing the day for the discussion meeting—so that everyone can equally and joyfully engage in faith and practice."

In addition to building the Soka Gakkai into a grassroots movement of empowered global citizens, he established the Soka Gakkai International and founded several peace-related institutions. He engaged in dialogues with a broad range of individuals from around the world and undertook citizen diplomacy for the sake of peace.

Before It Is Too Late—Aurelio Peccei and Daisaku Ikeda
https://www.daisakuikeda.org/sub/audio-visual/videos/club-of-rome-peccei.html
Aurelio Peccei, cofounder of The Club of Rome, and Daisaku Ikeda first met in May 1975. Over the next nine years, their discussions and correspondences explored humanity's relationship with itself and with the environment, emphasizing the need for a "human revolution"—a transformative shift in values and actions. Shortly after Peccei's passing in 1984, their dialogues were published as the book Before It Is Too Late.
This video is part of the "It's Time for a Human Revolution" project, a collaborative effort by the Fifth Element, The Club of Rome and the Soka Gakkai.
