-- DAILY GOSHO --
What can we say, then, of persons who are devoting themselves to Buddhism? Surely they should not forget the debts of gratitude they owe to their parents, their teachers and their country. But if one intends to repay these great debts of gratitude, one can hope to do so only if one learns and masters Buddhism, becoming a person of wisdom.

--- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ---
"Some flowers bloom early while others take their time. Flowers come in all different colours and shapes.

"Nichiren Buddhism teaches the principle of 'cherry, plum, peach and damson blossoms.' It means that just as each of these blossoms has its own beauty, each person is also different. Our faces, bodies, personalities, and tastes all vary. That's what makes us special. Because we are all different, we are irreplaceable and precious.

"Sometimes you may wish you were like someone else. But just as cherry blossoms cannot become plum, peach or damson blossoms, others are who they are and you are who you are. The important thing is for you to bring the great flower of your potential to bloom brilliantly in your own unique way."
