"Perseverance is the key to success in every endeavour. We of the Soka Gakkai have continued our efforts for kosen-rufu, no matter how small or inconspicuous, with tenacity and sincere dedication. That is why we have won. As the French author Gustave Flaubert (1821-80) wrote: 'Everything is enjoyable when you apply yourself to it with perseverance.'"
