-- TO MY FRIENDS --
To respect and promote cultural diversity is the
certain way to develop good friendships and trust between people.
It is also the way to build a peaceful and prosperous society.
This is the very basis of what our movement is all about
and how we will advance.

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
Therefore, the best way to attain Buddhahood is to encounter a good friend."
(Three Tripitaka Masters Pray for Rain - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol.1, page 598)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The Soka Gakkai is a citadel of ordinary people where we honestly and freely encourage each other and strive together for happiness. The Soka Gakkai is not an organisation that is artificially manufactured. It is an organisation that accords with the Buddha's intent--one that presidents Tsunesaburo Makiguchi and Josei Toda devoted their lives to creating. It is a gathering that is carrying out the Buddha's decree, appearing in response to the Buddha's wish and shouldering the mission to realise kosen-rufu and lead all people to enlightenment.

"Holding high the banner of 'establishing the correct teaching for the peace of the land,' we are unafraid of any obstacle. Indeed, we are a network of active and awakened people brimming with pride and joy."
