---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"No life is without problems. No life is without hardships. You often find that people who excel in their field tend to rack their brains harder to solve problems and put in more hard work and effort than others, even when no one else is watching.

"Practising the Daishonin's Buddhism fundamentally enables us to remain undefeated by any of life's problems or hardships.

"I recall my mentor, second Soka Gakkai president Josei Toda, encouraging some of his sincere disciples from Chubu: 'It is important that we resolutely triumph over devilish functions that cause unhappiness and misery. Faith in the Daishonin's Buddhism enables us not only to overcome various trials but, with each successive victory, to build a foundation for unshakable happiness in life. We gain the capacity to help many more people become happy. And, as a result, all can accumulate eternal good fortune and benefit.'"
