-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The noble solidarity of our Mens' Division members
stands majestically in the very heart of our local communities.
Beginning with the members of the Mens' Division Ojo-kai,*
our heartfelt appreciation goes out to
all of the "eternally youthful" members of the special groups
who protect and look after our culture centres
in so many various different ways.

* Group names might vary from country to country but these are the groups of members that look after all of our community centres and other facilities,
from security to cleaning and many other types of jobs, sometimes quite unique to that particular centre!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"(Tell them to be prepared for the worst, and) not to expect good times, but take the bad times for granted."

(On Persecutions Befalling the Sage - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, page 998)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The direction of our lives is influenced by our good fortune. An attitude of appreciation is important for accumulating good fortune. Even though we take part in Soka Gakkai activities, if we're always complaining and negative, we'll extinguish the good fortune we should be accumulating. In contrast, if we have gratitude for the Gohonzon, the Daishonin, and the Soka Gakkai, which helped us develop our faith, and start each day with the positive commitment to doing our part as an emissary of the Buddha, we'll experience great joy. And that attitude will enable us to acquire benefit and good fortune."
