* Again several people received many editions of the same TMF for the day. Yahoo is aware that MANY groups are suffering from this at the moment and they are doing all they can to solve this "mystery."…

A translation of "To My Friends" published in the Seikyo Shinbun based on President Ikeda's recent guidance, and more.

-- TO MY FRIENDS --
To carefully listen to a person who is suffering
and to wholeheartedly empathise with their pain
from deep within.
This is the basis and fundamental point of encouragement.
May you all be practitioners of "removing suffering and giving joy"*
by wholeheartedly chanting daimoku together with them
so that they can summon up their courage to get back on their feet!

*removing suffering and giving joy [抜苦与楽] ( bakku-yoraku): The practice of compassion in Buddhism. Compassion is interpreted as encompassing the two merciful deeds: saving other people from their sufferings and giving them peace and delight. From its inception Buddhism encourages its followers to rescue people from suffering and give them peace and joy.
