"The Daishonin publicly declared his teaching for the first time to a small group of people (cf. WND –1, 651). Our discussion meetings, where we join together to discuss Nichiren Buddhism in small gatherings, carry on this tradition of the Daishonin. Through them, let us, in the same spirit as the Daishonin, continue to expand our dialogues for happiness and peace, so that we may repay our debt of gratitude, bring true benefit to our parents, foster friendship and solidarity and guide as many people as possible to the path of Buddhahood."
