-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Even if we don't see any immediate results
in what we are striving for,
there is absolutely no need to be impatient.
So long as the roots of our faith are deep,
all of our efforts become nutrition and fertiliser
for the "flowers of victories"
to bloom without fail!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Take these teachings to heart, and always remember that believers in the Lotus Sutra should absolutely be the last to abuse one another. All those who keep faith in the Lotus Sutra are most certainly Buddhas, and one who slanders a Buddha commits a grave offence."

- WND, Vol. 1, page 756)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"[T'ien-t'ai's Words and Phrases of the Lotus Sutra states:] 'Since the Law is wonderful, the person is worthy of respect, since the person is worthy of respect, the land is sacred.'
- From 'The Person of the Law'
(WND-1, 1097).
"People who embrace the Mystic Law are precious treasures, capable of forging precious bonds with those around them. The dedicated members of our organisation's various local community groups are building a treasure land brimming with a vibrant joy of Bodhisattvas of the Earth.
"Though in the past they experienced hostility and opposition like that described in the Lotus Sutra, the members of these groups have steadfastly made sincere efforts to contribute to the welfare of their communities. Their 'unseen virtue' has brought brilliant 'visible reward' in the form of deep trust.
"We can overcome the sufferings of birth, ageing, sickness and death through the great beneficial power of the Mystic Law, which enables us to bring forth the noble virtues of eternity, joy, true self and purity. As we engage in this challenge, let's continue to expand the realm of human harmony, embodying the Buddha's words "this, my land, remains safe and tranquil" (LSOC 16, 272)."
Advancing with the Gosho (2), [75] Transforming Our Communities into Realms of Human Harmony, translated from 22nd June, 2019, issue of the Seikyo Newspaer, translation released July 2019
