-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Aiming towards our goals
and targets for kosen-rufu,
let's first of all challenge ourselves!
From this determination
and through subsequent action,
the joy of faith springs up,
and our lives are adorned
with the blossoms and fragrance
of immeasurable good fortune
and benefit!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Whatever trouble occurs, regard it as no more than a dream, and think only of the Lotus Sutra."

(Letter to the Brothers
- WND, Vol. 1, page 493)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"'Even though one may resort to harsh words, if such words help the person to whom they are addressed, then they are worthy to be regarded as truthful words and gentle words. Similarly, though one may use gentle words, if they harm [mislead] the person to whom they are addressed, they are in fact deceptive words, harsh words.'

From 'The Tripitaka Master Shan-wu-wei'
(WND–1, 178).

"Honest words that come from a place of deep compassion and care resonate deeply in people's hearts. Lies and misrepresentations, however nicely worded, will eventually be exposed for what they are.

"Sincere dialogue based on a common concern for the happiness and welfare of all people is the key to fostering true democracy.

"Using our voices to spread Nichiren Buddhism's message of peace and human dignity—our lion's roar of truth and justice—is a powerful force for creating a new age. Let's continue our dialogues with pride and confidence!"

Spreading the Brilliant Light of the Daishonin's writings, [57] Spreading the Positive Message of Nichiren Buddhism Will Create a New Age, translated from the October 16th, 2021, issue of the Seikyo Newspaper, translation released December 2021.
