-- TO MY FRIENDS --
As the Daishonin expounds,

"oiling the wheels of a cart

so that they turn 

even though it is heavy,"*

let's learn to sincerely empathise 

with our friends' 

concerns and worries

so that they are certain 

to feel relieved and comforted.

Herein lies the true meaning 

of "encouragement."
