-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Our wonderful Women's Division members,
the most united women's movement (for the
sake of people's happiness and peace in society) in the world,
are advancing together so cheerfully!
The courageous voices of women are indeed the driving force
that will change the current of the time for the better.
Today again, let's all advance together cheerfully and energetically!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"This passage refers to the great joy that one experiences
when one understands for the first time that one's mind
from the very beginning has been the Buddha.
Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is the greatest of all joys."
(Ongi kuden - Gosho Zenshu, page 788, The Record of the Orally Transmitted Teachings, page 211)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Mr. Toda repeatedly shared with me the wisdom he had gained from his life-and-death struggle in prison. He would say:
"People are people, no matter how grand their title. Never bow and scrape to anyone based on their position or status in society.
"What matters most about a person are their principles and their actions. That's why the Soka Gakkai youth, who uphold the world's supreme philosophy and are acting for the happiness of others, should always have the courage to talk to anybody about their beliefs with self-confidence and conviction.
"The people are the most important. The Soka Gakkai is an organisation of the people, and youth are its main protagonists. Always advance with strength and fortitude! Courage! Courage is the key!
"The people are sovereign. You, my young friends, have nothing to fear. Speak out for what you believe is right, filled with courage, hope, confidence, and good cheer. That's also how Goethe lived his life. Please do your best!"
