"No matter how unexpectedly our loved ones may pass away, we should be assured that the lives of all who have formed a connection to the Mystic Law--whether through their own practice or their ties with us--will on death be enfolded in the protective embrace of the Buddhas and heavenly deities, and will enter a path leading to Buddhahood without fail.
"In particular, nothing can sever the ties of family members bound together by the Mystic Law. Though you may be temporarily separated by death, eventually you will be born again together in the 'same land of the Mystic Law' (cf. WND-1, 1074), and continue your unending journey of life together pervaded by the four noble virtues of eternity, happiness, true self, and purity. This is the promise of Nichiren Daishonin."
