---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"'If the Law that one embraces is supreme, then the person who embraces it must accordingly be foremost among all others. And if that is so, then to speak ill of that person is to speak ill of the Law.'
From 'Questions and Answers about Embracing the Lotus Sutra' (WND-1, 61).

"We should ponder the question, 'what is it that makes a person truly great?'A person upholding a philosophy of the highest humanism is supremely noble. Therefore, as practitioners of the Daishonin's Buddhism working tirelessly for kosen-rufu, we have no need to feel intimidated by those in positions of power or authority. Moreover, we can bring forth limitless wisdom and strength to win over our real challenges and struggles."
SGI Newsletter No. 8240, LIVING THE GOSHO: WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FROM
SGI PRESIDENT IKEDA, (27) People Who Spread the Correct Teaching Are Supremely Noble, translated May 24th, 2011, from the May 20th, 2011, issue of the Seikyo Shimbun, the Soka Gakkai daily newspaper.
