--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Believe in this mandala with all your heart. Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is like the roar of a lion. What sickness can therefore be an obstacle?"

(Reply to Kyo'o - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol.1, page 412)
Selection source: New Human Revolution, Seikyo Shimbun, January 28th, 2013

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Nichiren Daishonin writes: 'One who listens to even a sentence or phrase of the [Lotus] sutra and cherishes it deep in one's heart may be likened to a ship that crosses the sea of the sufferings of birth and death' (WND-1, 33). In our world today, rife with the four sufferings of birth, aging, sickness, and death, our efforts to talk with others about Nichiren Buddhism can open the way to happiness and peace pervaded by the noble virtues of eternity, happiness, true self, and purity for both ourselves and others. The higher the breakers of adversity buffeting our times, the more steadily and powerfully our great ship of Soka must advance.

"The Norwegian poet Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson (1832–1910) wrote: 'The greater the courage of pioneers, the more people will follow in their footsteps.'[1]
