With your abundant wisdom and various life experiences,
shine a light of hope in the hearts of everyone around you.
May you all stand as strong golden pillars of your district!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"And yet, though one might point at the earth and miss it, though one might bind up the sky, though the tides might cease to ebb and flow and the sun rise in the west, it could never come about that the prayers of the practitioner of the Lotus Sutra would go unanswered."

(On Prayer Ongi kuden - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol. 1, page 345) Selection source: Kyo no Hosshin, Seikyo Shimbun, April 13th, 2013

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The driving force for the development of kosen-rufu is first and foremost small gatherings where people can meet face-to-face; it is heart-to-heart dialogue. The SGI has won over all obstacles because we have forged strong personal bonds with our fellow members.

"Mr. Toda placed great importance on discussion meetings. Even when there were only a few participants, he was delighted and did his best to make the meeting a success, knowing that smaller gatherings allowed for deeper discussion.

"Nothing is more powerful than steady, grassroots activities.

"The ongoing effort of challenging ourselves from one discussion meeting to the next is the rhythm of victory that has become the tradition of the SGI."

SGI Newsletter No. 8747, Humanistic Teachings for Victory, (8) Discussion Meetings: The Driving Force for the Development of Kosen-rufu, Start from Discussion Meetings, from the 16th May, 2012, issue of the Soka Shimpo, the Soka Gakkai youth division's fortnightly newspaper, translated 11th April 2013
