Let's spur ourselves on to monumental achievements
as we celebrate the significant period between April 2nd and May 3rd.*
*On April 2, 1958, Josei Toda, the Soka Gakkai's second president, died.
On May 3, 1951, Josei Toda was inaugurated as the second Soka Gakkai president.
On the same day in 1960, Daisaku Ikeda was inaugurated as the third Soka Gakkai president.

*In Japan, during April, Soka Family gongyo meetings are planned to be held to welcome school students starting new schools. Their parents, grandparents and all other family members are invited to attend these meetings.
