--- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ---
"Nichiren Daishonin writes: 'He [Shakyamuni] declared that "not a one will fail to attain Buddhahood" [LSOC2, 75]. That is, he taught that of those who so much as one time pronounce the words Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, not one will fail to become a Buddha' (WND-2, 1081).

"The power of the Mystic Law, the key to genuine happiness, is truly immense. It is vital, therefore, that we help others form a connection to Buddhism. Each one of you who, through your own profound connection, has joined in the great movement for kosen-rufu is precious and important without measure.

"Nichiren Daishonin said to a disciple: 'How could I regard as strangers the people who, if only for a day or even for a moment, have helped me survive?' (WND-1, 895). And, out of consideration for this disciple's difficult circumstances, he declared: 'No matter what may happen in the future, be assured that I will never forsake or neglect you' (WND-1, 895).

"The compassion of Nichiren Daishonin, the Buddha of the Latter Day of the Law, is vast and immeasurable. Seeking to emulate the Daishonin's spirit, our Soka family is  characterized by the most positive, beautiful, and warmhearted human relationships in the world."

SGI Newsletter No. 9370, Joining in the Joyous Dance of Kosen-rufu, from the April 2016 issue of Daibyakurenge, the Soka Gakkai monthly study journal, translation released 18th March, 2016.
