-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
Our district is like a home port
for kosen-rufu.
In a warm and lively atmosphere,
welcoming all of our friends,
let's hold vibrant discussion meetings
that enables us to set sail towards
brilliant achievements!
With the enthusiasm as the Daishonin writes,
"What a joy it is for us
(to have been born in the Latter Day of the Law
and to have shared in the propagation
of the Lotus Sutra)!"*
let's spread this Buddhism
and expand our movement joyfully
and courageously!

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"…remember that all our members possess the respect-worthy life state of Buddhahood. While there are various leadership positions in the Soka Gakkai to ensure the coordinated functioning of the organisation, all of us are equal as human beings; no one is superior or inferior to anyone else. Never think that your role as a leader in our organisation gives you the right to speak to others harshly or disrespectfully."
