-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Influenza is now rampant!
Let's be sure to always take the proper
preventive measures such as
washing our hands, gargling,
wearing a mask,* using a humidifier
and drinking plenty of liquids.**
Let's take care of ourselves
and stay on top of our health!

* Masks are often worn in Asian countries in order to not spread any illness one might have or when one is in proximity to a lot of people who might well have a cold or something else infectious! You should see some of the designs!
** Non-alcoholic… of course!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"this character myō is the moon, it is the sun, it is the stars, it is a mirror, it is garments, it is food, it is flowers, it is the great earth, it is the great sea.  All benefits clustered together make up the character myō.  Also, it is the wish-granting jewel."

("Reply go the Lay Nun Myōshin", WND-ll pages 879 – 880)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"As great bodhisattvas who made a vow in the remote past, we chose voluntarily to be born in the Latter Day of the Law, to leap into the midst of this world, and strive to realise happiness for ourselves and for others. No one is nobler, more honourable, or blessed with more good fortune and benefit.

"That is why the Daishonin declared: 'Do not despise them! Do not look on them with contempt!' (WND-1, 789)."
