-- TO MY FRIENDS --
It's unity with the spirit
of many in body but one in mind
that enables us to achieve victory
in whatever our struggles might be.
As the Daishonin encourages us,
"transcending all differences
among themselves to become as
inseparable as fish and the water
in which they swim,"*
let's unite so that we can joyfully
and proudly sing our triumphal song
of kosen-rufu together!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"The practice of making a bow of obeisance carried out by the bodhisattva Never Disparaging is based on the teaching that the people he bowed to were "all certain to attain Buddhahood" and therefore is an expression of pity and compassion."

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Another important aspect of faith in the Lotus Sutra is that all who hear about the teaching of the Mystic Law are certain to attain enlightenment. As the passage from the 'Expedient Means' (2nd) chapter of the Lotus Sutra states, 'If there are those who hear the Law, then not a one will fail to attain Buddahood' (LSOC2, 75).
"Welcoming spring is not restricted to a certain select group of people. The Mystic Law opens the way to enlightenment for all people, with no one excluded or left behind, which is made possible by planting the seed of the Mystic Law—the cause for attaining Buddhahood--in people's lives. This is what distinguishes Nichiren Buddhism as a universal religion."
