-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
Season's greetings are
 an invaluable factor
  in the development of
   good human relations.
The Daishonin states,
"When one knows the Lotus Sutra,
  one understands the meaning
   of all worldly affairs."*
Let's cheerfully maintain,
 heart-to-heart communications with others
by using our wisdom and creativity!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"The first shi of the word shishi, or 'lion' [which means 'teacher'], is the Wonderful Law that is passed on by the teacher. The second shi [which means 'child'] is the Wonderful Law as it is received by the disciples. The 'roar' is the sound of the teacher and the disciples chanting in unison.

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Through their great struggle of selfless dedication to propagating the Law, our first and second presidents, Tsunesaburo Makiguchi and Josei Toda, clearly demonstrated that all our efforts to realise kosen-rufu-rufu and the ideal of 'establishing the correct teaching for the peace of the land' are a shared struggle with Nichiren Daishonin. They taught us that when we burn with this pride and hope and pray for, support, and encourage one another, we can triumph over anything without fail."
