"'The Lotus Sutra states that it is 'good medicine for the ills of the people of Jambudvipa [the entire world]' (LSOC 23, 330). The people of this world of Jambudvipa are suffering from illness, but they have the medicine of the Lotus Sutra. Now in your case, the three requirements [necessary for the fulfilment of one's prayer, namely, the Buddha, the Law and the practitioner] are already present, so how could you fail to recover? But if you have doubts, I am powerless to help you.'

"Summon forth the great power of faith, confident that you will be protected no matter what, and vanquish the devil of illness!
"With the lions roar of Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, let's make the sun of time without beginning-- our innate Buddhahood--shine brightly in our hearts!"
