-- TO MY FRIENDS --
It's the final phase for those
who are challenging upcoming
school entrance exam(s).*
All of my dearest friends
who are struggling right now,
don't be defeated!
By challenging yourself
to the very last moment,
without ever entertaining
the thought of giving up,
you are laying
the solid foundations in your youth
that are certain to enable you
to plot a victorious life.

* Several nations in Asia, including Japan, finish their school year in March, hence there are presently entrance exams to go on to higher education.

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ——
"The Daishonin also writes: 'Were it not for them [all living beings], one would find it impossible to make the vow to save innumerable living beings' (WND – 1, 43). He goes so far as to say that we owe a profound debt to the people of the world who are suffering, for they are the reason we make a vow to lead others to enlightenment and give our whole to realising it.

"The principle of 'leaving no one behind' underlies the United Nations Sustainable Development goals (SDGs) that global society is working together to achieve. It resonates with the spirit of compassion exemplified by the bodhisattva vow to free all people from suffering."

The Buddhism of the Sun—Illuminating the World, [58] Creating a Century of Humanism in Which All Can Shine—Part 2 [0f 5], We Owe a Debt of Gratitude to All Living Beings,  February 2020 issue of Daibyaku Renge, translation released December 2020
