-- DAILY GOSHO --
"It is stated that once this teaching is revealed in this era, the Buddha images as well as the priests of the temples built in the Former and Middle Days will all lose their power to benefit people, and only this great teaching will spread throughout the entire land of Jambudvīpa. Since all of you have a bond with this teaching, you should feel reassured."

--- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ---

SGI-Australia YWD Member: Please share with us some points we should bear in mind when telling other young people our age about the greatness of Nichiren Buddhism.

President Ikeda: Talk to them confidently about the greatness of Buddhism and faith. It all comes down to you proudly sharing your conviction and experience in faith. Doing so plants the seeds of happiness and hope in your friends' lives. These seeds will undoubtedly take root, bud, and eventually flower. Until then, it's enough that you continue chanting and wait for that time to come.

Published as SGI Newsletter, No. 11585, July 19th, 2024—from Ikeda Sensei's speech at a special world peace gongyo meeting with participants of the 2002 SGI Youth Training Course, held at the Soka Culture Centre in Shinanomachi, Tokyo, on September 8th, 2002. Video footage of the speech was broadcast during the headquarters leaders meeting held on June 29th, 2024.
