--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"In this chapter Shakyamuni Buddha revealed the foremost point he wished to convey to us. The Buddha preached the Lotus Sutra over a period of eight years, and eight characters sum up the message that he has left behind for living beings in this later age, the Latter Day of the Law. It is the passage that reads, 'Therefore, Universal
Worthy, if you see a person who accepts and upholds this sutra, you should rise and greet him from afar, showing him the same respect you would a Buddha' (chapter twenty-eight), particularly the eight characters that make up the end of the passage, 'you should rise and greet him,' etc."

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Anyone who seeks to attain Buddhahood in this lifetime and carries out faith aimed at achieving human revolution will be able to establish a firmly grounded self. We can develop a state of life that allows us to actualise happiness for ourselves and others. We can forge ahead undaunted by any adversity and enhance our capacity for
creating value out of every situation. Faith in the Daishonin's Buddhism enables us to cultivate an inner state of absolute freedom, undefeated by any karmic challenge. It is the means by which we can polish our lives."
