-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The key to how we will successfully pass our faith and
practice on to our children is to chant daimoku together with them and talk about this Buddhism and the SGI movement with them.
Parents' earnest hope and serious determination will
definitely be transmitted to their children and inspire them.

"My mentor, second Soka Gakkai president Josei Toda, often said: 'Of course, my goal is to make progress in kosen-rufu, but what I wish for even more than that is for each of our precious members to enjoy good health, happiness, and prosperity. I'm overjoyed when people tell me they have improved their lives through practicing the Daishonin's Buddhism, but it tears me apart when they tell me they're still suffering.'"
"Mr. Toda was solely concerned with people's happiness and chanted that all members of the Soka Gakkai, without exception, would experience immense benefit in faith. Toward that end, he did whatever he possibly could to assist them, opening a path that would guide them toward achieving such results."
