-- TO MY FRIENDS --
It's by interacting with others through our invigorating voices and refreshing smiles
that we expand the trust that people place in us.
Remember that peace in the world begins
with harmony in our own family and local community!
It begins
with the personal encouragement we give to another!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"It has been twenty or more years now since I found myself in that situation and began the great battle. Not once have I thought of retreat."

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Thanking and praising members who have made some form of contribution is the first step to fostering capable individuals.

"It's often said that the stone walls of a castle are strong because they are built of stones of many different shapes. The same is true of the Soka Gakkai. By fostering and uniting people of many different personalities and talents, we can build an invincible bastion of Soka. Take baseball for example: a team made up of nine top pitchers wouldn't necessarily be a strong team, would it?

"The phrase 'one in body, one in mind' is sometimes used to refer to unity, but Nichiren Daishonin used the phrase 'many in body, one in mind.' That correctly conveys the truth that Buddhism, and the Soka Gakkai as an organisation, doesn't try to press everyone into an identical mold, but values and makes the most of their differences—that is, their uniqueness, their special qualities—to the highest degree. A bastion of capable people is a gathering of many, diverse individuals."
