"Be unafraid!
The "Law of the lotus"[1]
will enable you to overcome all adversity
and enjoyably attain the inner riches
of a lofty state of life.

"Life goes by in a flash, and the speed of the days and months passing seems to accelerate as one ages. Nichiren Daishonin writes: 'Life is limited; we must not begrudge it. What we should ultimately aspire to is the Buddha land' (WND-1, 214). Let us live out our lives dedicated to the great vow of kosen-rufu, valuing and appreciating each day, with the spirit that we are advancing together with the Daishonin.

"We all have various obstacles that we must overcome day after day and month after month. No matter how daunting the challenges we face, with our own daimoku and the support and encouragement of our fellow members, we strive valiantly to surmount them. Indeed, we are confident that we can do so without fail.
