"Stand firm against the waves of hardship that may buffet you, regarding them as opportunities to transform your karma. Chant earnestly and triumph over them.

"Adversity makes us stronger. Faith in the Mystic Law is a source of unsurpassed vitality and is the driving force for victory.

"The more we exert ourselves in the realm of faith, the stronger and richer our life force will become. We will be able to change for the better, gain good fortune, and also impart happiness to others.

"All efforts we make for the sake of kosen-rufu will manifest as benefit in our lives; nothing is ever wasted."
