— TO MY FRIENDS --
Let's not waste any time at all
when it comes to reporting about a particular situation
or encouraging a friend in need.
The speed of our response
is a reflection of our sense of responsibility and sincerity.

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"There is no place among the worlds of the ten directions that the
sound of our voices chanting daimoku cannot reach. Our voices may be
small, but when we intone the powerful sound of daimoku, there is no
place in the universe that they do not penetrate."

—— DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Nichiren Daishonin calls out to his youthful followers: 'My wish is that all my disciples make a great vow' (WND-1, 1003). What is this 'great vow'? I believe it is the supreme wish of all people, of all youth: World peace. In other words, it is the desire for the happiness of all humanity, transcending national borders.

"What meaning is there in an existence of isolation, self-deception, and idle pleasure? Such a life only leads to regret. Therefore, my friends, arouse a great vow! Have high hopes! Cherish lofty ideals! Do all of you have hopes and ideals?

"The Daishonin says: 'The "great vow" refers to the propagation of the Lotus Sutra [Nam-myoho-renge-kyo]' (OTT, 82). The only way to realise genuine peace and happiness for humanity and forge global solidarity is through humanism and through widely spreading the principles and ideals of the correct teaching of Buddhism."
