— TO MY FRIENDS --
A person who teaches the Mystic Law to others
is the envoy of the Thus Come One.*
Talk about it with others in your own type of words and
in a way that is natural and true to yourself.
It's an honest and caring heart and the daimoku we chant
for the happiness of our friends
that adorns our lives with good fortune and benefit.
*"If one of these good men or good women in the time after I have passed into extinction is able to secretly expound the Lotus Sutra to one person, even one phrase of it, then you should know that he or she is the envoy of the Thus Come One."
(The Lotus Sutra, "The Teacher of the Law" chapter)

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Blue dye comes from indigo, but when something is repeatedly dyed in it, the colour is better than that of the indigo plant. The Lotus Sutra remains the same, but if you repeatedly strengthen your resolve, your colour will be better than that of others, and you will receive more blessings than they do.."
(The Supremacy of the Law - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol.1, page 615) Selection Source: Kyo no Hosshin, Seikyo Shinbun, March 15th, 2014

—— DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ——
"…the Daishonin states: 'The Law does not spread by itself: because people propagate it, both people and the Law are respect worthy' (GZ, 856).[1]
"The Mystic Law is a teaching of hope by which anyone can achieve happiness and victory in life; it is the law embodying the highest truth that enables us, regardless of the state of society, to forge a solidarity of people dedicated to peace, culture, and education.
"…No matter what happens, it's important that you remain firmly committed to the lofty spirit of sharing Buddhism with others, and that you steadfastly speak out for what is right with strong conviction."
SGI Newsletter No. 8949, Opening a New Era of Kosen-rufu Together, (9) Remaining Firmly Committed to the Spirit of Sharing Buddhism with Others, from 2nd March, 2014, issue of the Seikyo Shimbun, translation released 10th March 2014
