--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"But how great is the difference between the blessings received when a sage chants the daimoku and the blessings received when we chant it?' To reply, one is in no way superior to the other."
(The Fourteen Slanders - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Volume 1, page 756)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Changing our karma, realising happiness for all humanity, and creating a peaceful society—all begin with a change in our hearts.
"Nichiren Daishonin speaks of the 'wonderful workings of one mind' (OTT, 30).The workings of the human heart and mind are truly mysterious.
"The Daishonin states: 'This mind that is beyond comprehension constitutes the core teaching of the sutras and treatises' (WND-2, 844). Nichiren Buddhism is ateaching of value creation that allows us to open the limitless treasure house of the mind, the heart.
"As the Daishonin says: 'It is the heart that is important' (WND-1, 1000; WND-1, 949). The intention in one's heart determines everything.
"We can achieve completely different results depending on how our minds perceive things, what they decide, and what they prompt us to do at each moment, each instant. This is the essence of faith in the Mystic Law, and the principle of 'three thousand realms in a single moment of life.' Our true capacity as human beings is determined by what we have in our hearts and minds."
