-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Never ever give up, no matter what!
It's such unyielding determination
that opens the door to glorious victory.
Let's start everything
that shakes the Buddhist gods
to assist us!*
*"When you shake your head, your hair sways; when your mind begins to work, your body moves. When a strong wind blows, the grass and trees can no longer remain still; when the earth shakes, the seas are atremble. Thus if one can move Shakyamuni Buddha, the lord of teachings, can the grass and trees fail to respond, can the waters remain calm?" - "Concerning the Statue of Shakyamuni Buddha Fashioned by Nichigen-nyo", WND-II, page 811

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet."

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
'These great bodhisattvas [who emerged from the earth] are particularly suited to bring benefit to people in the Latter Day of the Law, like fish who are at home in the water or birds that move freely through the sky. When people in that corrupt and evil age encounter these great bodhisattvas, the seed of Buddhahood will be implanted in them, just as when a piece of crystal is exposed to the light of the moon, it produces water, or when a peacock hears the sound of thunder, it conceives.' (WND-2, 551)
"The Daishonin says that the Bodhisattvas of the Earth freely take action to sow the seeds of Buddhahood in the lives of people in the Latter Day of the Law and benefit them. They have the power to bring benefit to everyone they encounter, everyone with whom they are connected."
