Everyday is considered a brand new start
when you're living a life devoted
towards achieving kosen-rufu.
Let's be sure to constantly take on new challenges,
from this very moment,

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"But my life from the beginning has been based upon firm conviction. I have no intention now of reversing my course, nor will I ever reproach [those who persecuted me]. Evil persons too will be good friends to me."
(Why No Protection from the Heavenly Gods?
- WND, Vol. II, page 432)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Having a seeking spirit is crucial in Buddhist study. Being a person who has admirable, strong faith is not a matter of simply having a great deal of knowledge about Buddhism, but rather taking action to strive earnestly for kosen-rufu, always in touch with the Daishonin's spirit.
"There is no final goal on the path of study. The more we study, the more we deepen not only our learning, but also our faith and practice. When we persevere sincerely in faith, always moving forwards and improving ourselves, we will enjoy a state of life of limitless freedom as 'true seekers of the way' (WND-1, 457).
"That is also the purpose of our Soka Gakkai activities.
"When we are dealing with problems and difficulties, we may sometimes feel heavyhearted and reluctant to attend Soka Gakkai meetings. But those are precisely the times that our lives can be energised by making an effort to attend these gatherings of Buddhas, studying the Daishonin's teachings, and listening to others' experiences of practising Nichiren Buddhism. This is the way to polish our faith, expand our state of life, and set forth again with light hearts and renewed vigour."
