The Daishonin states:
"do not depend on others."*
Let's do our utmost to overcome
any carelessness or dependency we might have
which leads to us easily assuming that
"someone else will probably do it."
With the spirit of standing alone,
let's resolutely strive to shoulder
the full responsibility!
*"You must be firmly resolved. Do not begrudge your fief; do not think of your wife and children. And do not depend on others. You must simply make up your mind."
