-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The Daishonin encourages us,
"[A tree] will not topple if it has
a firm stake to hold it up."*
That being said,
as long as there are people
who can be there for us,
there is no way
we can be defeated.
Everyone,
let's all strongly support
our friends!

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"One interpretation of the Japanese verb for 'to work' (hataraku) is that it means to bring ease (raku) to those around you (hata). There is joy and pride in serving others.
"The Chinese character for hataraku is written with two elements—one meaning 'person' and the other meaning 'to take action.'
"It is especially noble to work for the happiness and welfare of those who are struggling or suffering."
On the Wings of Your Dreams, from the May 1st, 2017, issue of the Future Journal. Translation released June 2018.
