-- TO MY FRIENDS --
To all of our dear friends who are studying
so hard for their upcoming
school entrance exams,
never ever give up, give this challenge

your very best shot.
Don't be defeated
Don't be defeated
by your own weaknesses!
We're chanting
We're chanting
for everyone's good health and growth
and your progress and victory.
Let's treasure each and every day
and your progress and victory.
Let's treasure each and every day
by putting forth our very best!

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
" The American poet and philosopher Henry David Thoreau (1817-62), born two centuries ago this year (2017), also believed in the tremendous power of individuals who have the courage to stand up for what was right and just. That is the origin of all social change. Thoreau declared that the institution of slavery would be abolished 'if one thousand, if one hundred , if ten men whom I could name,--if 10 honest men only,--ay, if one HONEST man'* stood up and took action against it.
"Quoting these words of Thoreau, Dr Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-68), the great leader of the American civil rights movement, said that by participating in the struggle to end segregation, African Americans who had suffered the indignities of racial discrimination were 'already walking straighter because of the protest,' and as a result, 'beneath the surface this nation's conscience is being stirred.'**
"When the minds and actions of individuals change, the collective conscience that forms the basis of society is also stirred to change."
